• Overall Court Size: The standard basketball court measures 28 meters (91.86 feet) in length and 15 meters (49.21 feet) in width.
• FreeThrow Line: Located 5.8 meters (19 feet) from the backboard, the freethrow line is where players attempt free throws after a foul.
• ThreePoint Line: The threepoint line forms an arc at a set distance from the basket. In international play, it is 6.75 meters (22.15 feet) away from the center of the basket along the radius.
• Key or Paint Area: This is the rectangular area underneath the basket. Its dimensions are 4.9 meters (16 feet) in width for international play.
